It’s been a while, but I wanted to use my blog as a way to say a few brief thoughts on this lip gloss I received in my Varsity Vox Box from Influenster!!
Here it is!!! I received the shade Pleasantly Plump Pink. It’s quite a wide lip gloss, hence the name! I used it today and my first thought was, “wow this doe foot applicator is huge.” The upside is one dip on there is enough to coat my lips, this may be a bad thing for some of you ladies with smaller/thinner lips.
It’s not extremely sticky, but there is a bit of a tacky feeling. On my lips this product isn’t pink at all as it looks in the tube and as the name suggests. There’s a fine silver shimmer in it and when applied it looks like a mostly transparent gloss with a silver frosty finish. Nothing crazy, but it I was a fee shades darker it may look odd. I didn’t have a problem with the appearance of the gloss on me. It added something subtle to my lips without color, which worked for me today.
As far as the plumping aspect, it does have a tingling feeling that lasts maybe 10-15 mins. I don’t really need plumbing, so I’m not too fond of plumbing glosses. It felt like it was doing something, but nothing major. This product lasted less than a few hours on my lips, but for the price I don’t think that’s a major issue. Another thing to note is that it smells like Vaseline, again not a big deal, at least it’s not something horrible.
So overall I think it’s worth a try for the price, if you want to give it a try. The have other shades in the line as well.
So I received my long awaited package from Inglot! I love the colors and people weren’t joking the AMC shine is highly glittery, but pretty. The DS is much better, but I love that matte. I will keep note for my next purchase. The only thing I’m disappointed about is that one of the shadows came slightly cracked and another shadow was missing. I’m guessing they didn’t have it because of IMATS. Oh well, I guess I will be eagerly awaiting it…it was a matte brown. Check out the full story below along with info on the palette!
I honestly cannot get enough of this brand! The prices are so affordable, I can’t resist! They were nice enough to offer me a free birthday gift with a min $10 purchase, that was easy enough because I had some stuff that I wanted, but left out of my last purchase. Though when I think about it, the price of shipping pretty much covers the gift, oh well. Anyway, here’s what I got:
1. (Gift) Studio 27 Piece Mini Makeup Collection $15
2. High Definition Powder $6
3. Mineral Eyeshadow in Angelic $3
4. Studio Daily Brush Cleanser $3
5. Essential line- Smudge Brush $1
6. Essential line- Lip Defining Brush $1
7. Essential line- Eyeshadow Brush $1
Ok, so it was a little over $10 🙂 I love using all this stuff. I got some more brushes, even though I have the studio set because it comes in handy when doing multiple colors and so on.
