|Keeping kid off roof

It is amazing how quickly things change. When I first had my son, I was so worried about something happening to him. I would wake up in the middle of the night to check on him. I would make sure all the doors were locked. I wanted to make sure no one could get into the house. Now that he is older, I have to make sure he does not get out of the house. I went to securitychoice.com and researched all my options. I need to make sure an alarm goes off the second that child opens a door or window. I have found I am more afraid of him trying to get out of the house than I am of someone trying to get into the house. I knew right away he was going to be an explorer. When he was little, he would climbanything and everything. So I was not surprised when I found him outside his window on the roof. He acted like it was no big deal. In actuality, there are much worse things that can happen, but I want to keep him safe and I want to go to bed at night knowing he is safe. Wanting your child’s safety never changes, but the means of getting it do.
