What About Concealer?

Physicians Formula Concealer Twins in Light Yellow

(CVS)

Alright, so here’s the thing, I’m not a big fan of this product. Yet again, I made the purchase at the drugstore in a hurry. The yellow is supposed to conceal under-eye darkness and the lighter color is supposed to be for other blemishes. The yellow does not blend out well with my finger or a concealer brush. It starts to get dry and tough to blend very quickly. The yellow also left the awkward white color, which was the result of the concealer drying up.

The tan color is better, but still its not my favorite. It blends a little bit better and surprisingly is doesn’t dry up as quickly; with that being said I still question this products ability to effectively conceal anything at all. I will still attempt to use the tan  color, so its not a complete waste of money. Below I will have a list of the top concealers I’ve heard about for under-eye darkness.

5 Concealers for Under-eye Darkness (No Order)

1. Bobbi Brown Correcter, $22, bobbibrowncosmetics.com

2. NARS Concealer, $22, sephora.com

3. Mac Studio Finish SPF 35 Concealer, $17, maccosmetics.com

4. BeneFit Erase Paste, $26, benefitcosmetics.com

5. theBalm timeBalm Concealer, $18, http://www.sephora.com

AND

One drug store brand that I heard was so-so:

CoverGirl Smoother’s Concealer, $4.99, drug stores

They’re a variety of good concealers out there that may work for you, try things out. I hope this helped, subscribe to the right if you haven’t already! Any question? Please ask!

Until next time 😀
